Our consultants have worked on many IPCO inspections and can advise and support on the implementation of any recommendations
Course/CPD Design
We can design and deliver specialist and bespoke Investigative courses or CPD events tailored to you. Our Trainers are experienced all aspects of Serious Organised Crime and Home Office priorities. We can provide Course Design, Assessment Processes and Quality Assurance and seek Professional Recognition for Training courses from Awarding Body Active IQ
Mentoring
We provide mentoring to Local and Public Authorities specifically in relation to Serious and Organised Crime, Implementation of SOC/4P strategies for OCGM, RIPA and Social Media activity and can provide support on all aspects of PACE and planning PACE interviews. BDG can also provide advanced suspect interviewers to support/advise on complex investigations
Competency Based Interviews (CBI) and exercises
If you have applied to join a Police Force or undergoing promotion, you will complete a sift followed by the assessment process. This process includes a series of exercises that test the key competencies and values that are important for the role of Police Constable and Senior ranks.This involves a Competency Based Interview, written and briefing exercise. We provide valuable expertise from coaches who have designed CVF based assessment processes and can provide STAR and CARS model based bite size sessions to prepare you for the process. We offer an introductory session free of charge
Professional role players
We have a pool of experienced professional training actors available to undertake any task in support of Trainer role playing services, corporate role players for any recruitment, training, assessment or CPD events. Our role-players are also qualified trainers who have extensive experience in the public and private sector, able to undertake any role under a specific script to enhance and ensure fairness in the learning experience of the candidate
Assessors/Internal Verifiers
We have a pool of experienced and trained occupational and vocational Assessors and Internal verifiers who can support, deliver or advise on the Quality Assurance of recruitment or Assessment Centres. We can provide freelance assessors and freelance Internal Verifiers/consultants or contract Internal verifiers who can provide valuable Internal Quality Assurance/Verifier role to ensure independence in your assessment process
