MISSION STATEMENT

 
1.0 Business summary:
     
BDG Training Consultancy Limited is a bespoke flexible training provider, incorporated on 14th November 2016. BDG Training Consultancy Limited is a flexible, accredited and bespoke training provider. Although based in the Midlands area, BDG are willing to travel nationally or internationally to support your needs. BDG can design and/or deliver bespoke Investigative products on your behalf. BDG are experienced practitioners and occupationally competent trainers. We deliver bespoke law and Investigative Training to Law Enforcement, Public and Local Authorities and design and deliver Investigative products for corporate clients. BDG are also an accredited Active IQ centre delivering Train the Trainer, Assessor, Internal Quality Assurance, Mental Health and Safeguarding qualifications. Active IQ is an awarding organisation recognised and regulated by Ofqual. ​
BDG can tailor any course to the individual learner or organisation to suit your needs including 'in house' delivery, blended learning, group learning, eLearning or one to one mentoring. BDG have a range of trainers who are subject matter experts in their field. Our Trainers have a wide and extensive background in Training, Assessment and managing complex criminal Investigations.

BDG Training Consultancy Limited is committed to ensuring the highest quality of Customer Service is delivered at all times. BDG aim to achieve excellence and to do it right the first time. We deliver this with a sense of pride in what we do, in a friendly warm and engaging environment to promote learning.  Creativity and innovation are encouraged for improving the effectiveness of BDG and developing new training products.
 
 
1.2 Policies and Procedure:
 
BDG has all the necessary policies in place to operate as an accredited College under Awarding Body Active IQ. 
 
Our Induction Policy is to inform staff working with BDG of our working practices. 
 
Our Standards of Conduct Policy is to inform staff working with BDG of standards and professional conduct required when working as consultants and within Training venues/organisations. 
 
Our Data Protection Policy is to inform students/staff working with BDG of Policy and provisions required and adopted to comply with the Law. 
 
Our Health and safety Policy is to inform students/staff working with BDG of requirements and responsibilities to comply with the Law. 
 
Our Diversity and Equality Policy is to set out our commitment to ensuring we adhere to the diversity and equality legislation and principles in our responsibilities as a Training Provider. 
 
Our Disciplinary Policy is to outline the internal Disciplinary procedure for staff working with BDG as an employer. 
 
Our Learner Induction Policy is to outline the process for Induction for new learners on a qualification pathway.
 
Our Learner Identification Policy is to set out the requirements for identifying learners by means of photographic evidence.
 
Our Recognition of Prior Learning Policy is to outline the policy for dealing with learners on a qualification pathway who have evidence of RPL.
 
Our Assessment Policy is to outline the guidance for assessors working within BDG as a training provider or as a sole trader operating under a Contract for services. 
 
Our Internal Quality Assurance Policy is to outline the internal Quality Assurance procedure for IQAs and to comply with centre guidance when delivering qualifications.
 
Our Appeals Procedure Policy is to ensure candidates understand what to do should they wish to appeal against a decision in relation to their portfolio of work or their assessment.
 
Our Reasonable Adjustments and Special Considerations Policy is to ensure any reasonable adjustments and special considerations are provided to the candidate irrespective of their sex, marital status, age, religion, colour, race, nationality, ethnic origin, or disability. The assessment process will be free from any barriers that unnecessarily restrict access.
 
Our Malpractice Policy is to ensure Trainers/Assessors/Learners understand the expectations and process where incidents of Malpractice are identified.
 
Our Plagiarism Policy is to ensure Trainers/Assessors/Learners understand the expectations and process where incidents of Plagiarism are identified 
 
Our Sub Contractor Policy is to ensure we follow legal requirements and Policy is followed for staff who are operating as a sub-contractor on behalf of BDG
 
Our Contract for services is the contract required to be signed by all assessors/associates working on behalf of BDG.
 
Our Risk Assessment Procedure Policy is to ensure associates understand what to do should in assessing risk in the workplace and ensure a training venue is completed and submitted. 
 
Our Conflict-of-Interest Policy is to BDG undertake an assessment of all services and products with clients to ensure there is no conflict of interest
 
Our Safeguarding Policy is to ensure BDG undertakes its legal responsibilities to ensure it complies with any welfare or safeguarding of any child or vulnerable person. 
 
Our Lone Worker Policy is to ensure BDG staff following the guidelines for lone working.

Our Modern Slavery Policy sets out our approach to ensure legal compliance 
 
All policies were reviewed in January 2024.  These will be reviewed every year and are updated as and when necessary.
