Introduction
In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, there are eight different levels of education to help you begin studying. These are set out by something known as the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The RQF provides a formal way of structuring the different levels of education in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. BDG offers a suite of Active IQ Teacher Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance qualifications. Your requirements may differ dependent on your individual circumstances. IQA Qualifications
​The function of internal quality assurance (IQA) also referred to as Internal Verification (IV) and IV Assessor Training is to monitor and maintain the integrity of the educational process. Internal Quality Assurance courses encompass a broad range of activities, such as checking the initial registration and processing of learners, sampling of assessment decisions, and ensuring that awarding organisation (AO) policies are appropriately adhered to. Specific attention is given to maintaining the accuracy and consistency of assessors’ judgements regarding learner’s work. Effective IQA enables training providers to bring transparency, validity and reliability to all aspects of assessment design, grading and marking. Internal quality assurance is a part of the essential foundation on which excellent assessment practices are built.
Active IQ Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices
This unit and qualification is intended for those who wish to gain an understanding of the principles and practices of internal quality assurance without any requirement to practice. This qualification includes manual and eLearning. Costs £150 exc VAT per person or call for 'in house' or bespoke requirements
Active IQ Level 4 Certificate in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices
