Disclosure failures remain one of the most significant risks to the integrity of investigations and the criminal justice system. The Independent Review of Disclosure highlighted the urgent need for all staff involved in investigations – from frontline investigators to managers and support staff – to receive structured awareness training. Without a clear understanding of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 (CPIA) and its requirements, organisations risk undermining cases, breaching the Human Rights Act, and losing public confidence. Our Disclosure Essentials Awareness Workshop provides the essential foundation that every investigator, case manager, and decision-maker needs. This one-day online, interactive session ensures delegates understand the legal framework, key principles, and practical application of Disclosure. The event is held in person in Birmingham City Centre . Certificates of CPD are available. Who should attend? Course date Thursday 18th June 2026 (9:30AM to 4:30PM) HOW TO BOOK £199 + VAT Booking: Payment can be made via the website by PayPal/debit/credit card or select the Pay in person option if you are booking on behalf of your organisation. Cancellation Policy
1. Course Registration: • Participants must register for courses through the BDG Training Consultancy website (bdgtrainingconsultancy.co.uk). • Full payment or a Purchase order (if applicable) must be made at the time of booking to secure a spot in the course. • Confirmation of booking will be sent via email once the registration and payment are completed. 2. Payment Methods: • We accept payments via credit/debit card, PayPal, bank transfer or Purchase Order • For bank transfers, payment must be received within 7 days of booking; otherwise, the reservation may be canceled. 3. Corporate Bookings: • Organisations wishing to book courses for multiple employees should contact BDG Training Consultancy directly for group rates and customised booking processes. • A purchase order or formal agreement may be required for corporate bookings. Cancellation Policy 1. Participant Cancellations: • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course start date will receive a full refund minus a £50 administration fee. • Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before the course start date will receive a 50% refund. • No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 15 days before the course start date. • Participants may transfer their booking to another individual without incurring a fee, provided BDG Training Consultancy is notified at least 7 days before the course start date. 2. Course Cancellations by BDG Training Consultancy: • BDG Training Consultancy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses if necessary. • In the event of a cancellation or reschedule by BDG Training Consultancy, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another course date. 3. Force Majeure: • BDG Training Consultancy is not liable for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other unforeseen events (force majeure). • In such cases, BDG Training Consultancy will attempt to reschedule the course, and participants will be given the option to attend the rescheduled course or receive a full refund.
