This practical one-day workshop is designed for investigators, enforcement officers, intelligence staff and regulatory practitioners responsible for handling digital devices and electronic material during investigations. As mobile phones, computers, cloud storage and online accounts become central to modern cases, effective digital evidence management is essential. The course provides a clear understanding of how to identify, seize, preserve and record digital evidence while maintaining continuity, integrity and evidential value. Learners will explore best practice for handling devices, data extraction considerations, storage, audit trails, disclosure responsibilities and working proportionately within legal powers. Delegates will also examine common risks such as contamination, data loss, privacy concerns and poor record keeping, together with practical steps to reduce challenge and strengthen case outcomes. Cancellation Policy
1. Course Registration: • Participants must register for courses through the BDG Training Consultancy website (bdgtrainingconsultancy.co.uk). • Full payment or a Purchase order (if applicable) must be made at the time of booking to secure a spot in the course. • Confirmation of booking will be sent via email once the registration and payment are completed. 2. Payment Methods: • We accept payments via credit/debit card, PayPal, bank transfer or Purchase Order • For bank transfers, payment must be received within 7 days of booking; otherwise, the reservation may be canceled. 3. Corporate Bookings: • Organisations wishing to book courses for multiple employees should contact BDG Training Consultancy directly for group rates and customised booking processes. • A purchase order or formal agreement may be required for corporate bookings. Cancellation Policy 1. Participant Cancellations: • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course start date will receive a full refund minus a £50 administration fee. • Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before the course start date will receive a 50% refund. • No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 15 days before the course start date. • Participants may transfer their booking to another individual without incurring a fee, provided BDG Training Consultancy is notified at least 7 days before the course start date. 2. Course Cancellations by BDG Training Consultancy: • BDG Training Consultancy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses if necessary. • In the event of a cancellation or reschedule by BDG Training Consultancy, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another course date. 3. Force Majeure: • BDG Training Consultancy is not liable for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other unforeseen events (force majeure). • In such cases, BDG Training Consultancy will attempt to reschedule the course, and participants will be given the option to attend the rescheduled course or receive a full refund.
